Iteration at the Science Center continues as we prepare to move into 3675 Market Street in uCity Square and start a new chapter in the Science Center’s history. For 55 years, we have pioneered the concept of business incubation. Now, we are moving to the next level by sharpening our focus on the people and ideas who are collectively shaping the future, and amplifying our technology commercialization and business acceleration programming. In addition, through FirstHand and our new workforce development initiative, we are providing new pathways for local residents to engage with STEM subjects and obtain good-paying jobs in STEM fields.
Thanks to our strong foundation and a clear path forward, we are well positioned to build on these changes and welcome the future benefits they will bring to the Science Center – and Philadelphia’s thriving innovation ecosystem. We are eager to leverage our accomplishments and strengths to help grow our economy and region.
